Nose: It's quite sweet on the nose - almost jelly lolly sweet. Quite a decent dose of moss and eucalyptus notes as well. The nose reminds me of opening a bag of fruit gummy bears down by the lake after a BBQ as a kid. Mouthfeel: It's a bit of an interesting mouthfeel on this - its a medium-weight whisky, nowhere near as thick and meaty as say a Bruichladdich, but it feels like it's got a solid strength behind it. It may only be a mid-weight, but it is viscerally there, and doesn't dissipate no matter how long you…

Nose: Raisins, prunes, spicy fruit rolls, plums, mixed berry jam. Dark and rich with a hint of sweet spices. Palate:  Basically what you get on the nose is what you get on the palate, with a boat load of black plums and some more red fruits joining the party; a hint of tart cherries showing up as well. Mouthfeel:  From the nose and the palate you might be expecting a whisky with the weight of concrete, but the whisky is surprisingly not so. It's definitely not a thin whisky, but is only what I'd describe as medium weight. There's a…

Nose:  Fruit cake, liquorice, vanilla, candied fruit peel, and almonds. Palate:  Mountains of candied orange, fruitcake, and vanilla; along with a few chocolate-covered liquorice bullets.  Also something sweet spice - that adds a little bit of zing.  Seriously sweet and fruity, with a touch of spice. Mouthfeel:  Thick and chewy.  It covers the whole mouth in a deliciously solid layer of rum. Finish:  Long and so very sweet.  Oodles of fruit cake on the finish, with more spice than on the nose or palate. Balance:  This is seriously well balanced - strong and smooth from the very first whiff till…

Nose:  Fudge, caramel toffee, golden syrup, brown sugar, caramel popcorn, and oat biscuits. Palate:  Jam on burnt toast, cinnamon, a little bit spicy.  Also some grandfather tawny, cloves, and some nutmeg. Mouthfeel:  Although fairly lightweight in comparison to the palate and nose; it has a medium weight.  It's also quite dry, and has a slight alcohol tingle. Finish:  Spicy, yet sweet.  The finish is super long, and my mouth jut can't stop watering for a really long time. Nose:  Burnt golden syrup and honey jumbles make up the bulk of the nose.  Crepes with brown sugar and lemon juice are also present.  Quite a strong nose; both sweet and sour.  The longer you let it breath, the more the crepes show up. Palate:  The golden syrup from the nose comes through thick and heavy, without being burnt this time.  The crepes with brown sugar and lemon juice are also still lurking in the back, although with much less lemon juice, and now with a trace of dark honey and a dollop of rich orange marmalade.  Also the lightest…

Nose:  Vanilla, honey, winter fruit - pears and apples, nutmeg, and faint notes of citrus, and cinnamon - with a very slight malt smell at the back. Palate:  Creamy malt, honey butter, pears, green grapes, sweet spices, vanilla, and light notes of lemon boiled lollies. Mouthfeel: Creamy yet also juicy, medium weight, slightly warm.  Neither oily nor dry. Finish: Crisp, slightly sweet and spicy, traces of vanilla.  Most of the flavours die down after a not particularly long time, but sweet spices and the vanilla hang around for quite a while.  My mouth keeps watering for the entire time the…
